Its taken 10 years in the making but this year finally we have satisfied Volvo CE with the product
capability, quality and durability of the K3VL product range and the Plymouth manufacturing facility such
that KPM is selected for the pump supply on the new Volvo CE G series large wheel loader range
This success has been the result of close co-operation between the respective Engineering departments of
Volvo, KPMJ and KPM UK such that the pump could be finely tuned to satisfy the strict requirements and
procedures laid down by this global flagship company.
It was also the first project for which the new NPI process (see 'How KPM UK will introduce
new product manufacturing) was used to fully prepare the Plymouth facility for the production start up early this year.
